Our story
From a slow call home to an app
The dropped call
One of our founders watched a video call with his mother in Bhaktapur fall apart on a busy 3G tower - and realized no app was solving that for Nepal.
The privacy moment
When the world's biggest messenger rewrote its privacy rules, millions of users - including in Nepal - went looking for an alternative. The wedge was real.
The beta
We built the first Mijyu beta in Kathmandu, tested it on real Ncell and NTC data packs, and let families break it for us.
The launch
